• Music from well known singer/composer Dougie MacLean. Local Taybank Pub has gained a deserved
reputation for fiddle playing, and master of the old Scottish bagpipes plays in summer in Birnam.
• Music in the Cathedral attracts well known musicians, programme runs on Sunday evenings during the
summer to autumn.
• Dunkeld and Birnam Festival at end of June attracts wide range of artistes.
• Art Gallery in main street, art exhibitions in Duchess Anne Hall all summer usually includes paintings of
Cathedral Street and No 6B , all for sale.
• Beatrix Potter holidayed as a child around Dunkeld and Birnam, where there is an atmospheric garden
